Are Authoritative Journals Our Scientific Bibles?
I admire Fox’s “It would be good for science if all were treated the same” in Anonymizing peer review makes the process more just (Nature 26 May 2023). Indeed,“Peer review” can make mistakes. For example, many papers use “Fault” to explain how earthquakes happen. However, the first earthquake in the World must have appeared without fault after the Earth appeared. So, this is a logic problem. Moreover, the Haicheng earthquake, the Bam earthquake and so on hit the places where no earthquake had happened before or no fault. Namely, term “Fault” also conflicts to fact. Further, “Great Papers That Have Been Rejected” shows that even Nature made mistakes.
